195sRFast Posted June 13, 2010 Report Share Posted June 13, 2010 This carburator was taken off a 1970 Datsun 521. I believe it is a Hitachi, but know if it is a DAF326 or not. I need to rebuild it and need to know what exactly it is. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment

datsunfish Posted June 14, 2010 Report Share Posted June 14, 2010 Thats just a stock hitachi. It doesnt matter what the model code is. Just order a kit according to your vehicle model and year and you should be fine. It looks a little rough and might not be worth a rebuild though. Try it if your broke but if you got about $100 then get a used weber and adapter plate and it will be waaaay better. Quote Link to comment
