Subject: Invitation to Participate in Informal Datsun Viewing at NWDE Meetings

 

Hello Fellow Datsun Enthusiasts (includes all Nissan & Infiniti Enthusiasts too),

 

Before our regularly scheduled NWDE (NW Datsun Enthusiasts) meetings we always have an informal car viewing get-togethers in the Round Table parking lot in Redmond-Bellevue. There are always plenty of techno-geek comments and expert opinions to go around depending on what object is in front of the audience. Ideas, parts and opinions are freely swapped.

A variety of vehicles show up, from show-quality to rusty-driver status, including trucks, utes, sports cars, wagons and sedans. Datsun models recently represented included Zs, 411s, Roadsters, 510s, 210s, 521s, 620s, 720s, Maximas, a 210 RHD JDM sports Ute, etc. There are also other modern Datsuns at hand (Nissans & Infinitis). However, this does not even start the describe the rich character, typical (no such thing) of Datsun owners, who stand around the cars & trucks to converse.

Also, during the summer months, we can expect that a group of Roadster enthusiasts will always descend on and crash at least one of our meetings. They are encouraged to do this and depending on weather, there have been over nine at one time.

 

Invitation:

So, we would like to encourage other enthusiasts to show up and mingle with (or without) their Datsuns in the parking lot before our meeting.

We also thought it would be good to announce a "theme" for each date (however any Datsun in welcome to show up at any time) with the first, here in May 2010 being:

GAWK, POINT & DISCUSS TRUCKS IN MAY.

 

There will be no pressure to join the NWDE meetings, though we invite all to attend.

 

So, as they say, "come on down" and "show us all what you've got".

 

Particulars:

- Location: = Round Table Pizza 15025 NE 24th st Redmond (just east of the Sears store on 148th)

- Date: = Friday, May 21st (always the 3rd Friday of every month)

- Time of Gawking = About 6pm, but several Datsun geeks start to show up at 5:30 pm

- Overflow Parking = The Sears parking butts up to the Round Table lot( but does not connect by any driveways)

- Time of NWDE Meeting = 7:30 pm
