1972 521 Truck - Mini Camper

1st question: I want to change my old worn drum breaks to disc breaks and need advice on how to do this the less cost effective way and sucessfully.

 

2nd Question: I want to change out the 4 spd stick shift tranny to an automatic trany.

 

If i replace the 4spd stick shift tranny with an automatic,,lets say a year that fits and computer modual,,floor shifter Ecccttt,,will i have to replace the driveshaft and cross member also?

 

any advice would be appreciated,,this is coming from a long time 510 enthusiast.
