TE72_Sunny
I don't mean to double post (newbie), but I'm looking to buy a Left Front (grille) turn signal light and both front and rear bumpers for a 1980 Datsun 210 (310) Hatchback. Any help will be appreciated. 3 Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Good luck! I've been looking for Sunny parts for a while now. I can't find jack shit. Link to comment
TE72_Sunny
Lol oh man.... it's like finding a needle in a hay stack. These cars are so rare to come across, unlike those 510's. Link to comment
metalmonkey47
That's so true. I'm just so annoyed when I start looking for parts, because it's sooooo hard. Link to comment
TE72_Sunny
I hear you, buddy. There's only 1 solution... Taking a trip to Japan and hope you find something there. From what I've seen they're more popular over there, especially in the JCCA events. Hopefully I can take a trip to Japan sometime next year. Gotta get myself some Rosetta Stone! lol. Link to comment
metalmonkey47
lmao!! You'll need more then that! All their parts are for RHD, so any interior pieces you need are primarily no no's! Hell, I'd sell you my bumpers if the 210 wasn't such a tin can. lol Link to comment
TE72_Sunny
I can't complain about the interior... it's in great shape has the original radio, too. I'll post pics up hopefully this week under my other thread. As far as bumper... how much you want for them?! I'll literally rent a pick up and show up at your house in like 12 hrs! lol. metalmonkey47
Well, I'm not too sure. The Sunny is a tiny little thing, and even though I like the look of the naked body, I'm afraid if I pull them off someone's going to hit me and wreck the car :( Although, if you're handy with metal and a welder, making some to match wouldn't be too difficult. You're more then welcome to come make a template out of mine one day if you're up for the drive. :P You can buy the bumper ends and shocks online for a reasonable price, so making it look OEM wouldn't be too difficult. TE72_Sunny
I'm not crafty at all (never welded)... hopefully I could practice on customizing my Corolla's bumper and make them shorter then I'll think about that drive Link to comment
metalmonkey47
Well I can understand that. I'll keep an eye out for sunny bumpers for you though! They aren't that easy to find. Link to comment
