I need a weber I have installed and I'm not a mechanic on datsuns but I have the conversion and the carb and linkage,I can pay someone to hook me up and will treat to bbq and beer if ya help a Brotha out!! Thanks Derek

You may get someone to help but as a Datsun owner you have to realize that part of that, is doing your own maintainance, up-grades and mods. This is because if we had lots of money we be driving a beemer or something else. Which leaves poor, so this is all we can afford, or reasonably well off to rich, but, love our Datsuns and everything about them including the satisfaction of working on/with them.

 

Where ever you fall in these categories, you should start collecting some metric tools for working on it. One of the best 'tools' is a good shop manual on your particular car or truck. The best by far is the Nissan FSM (factory service manual) but never hurts to have a Haynes either. Try E-Bay they come up for sale every now and then.

 

Often all you need is to come here and ask questions to help you through your job. The guys and gals here are more than willing to help out. Pictures are also a good diagnostic tool so follow this info for posting them here.
