speedy5271 Posted March 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 Yeah I'm swapping from auto to manual. The Transmission came out of 76 620 with the L20. The only marks i could find on the transmission were L 5 Link to comment
datzenmike Posted March 27, 2010 Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 Yeah, L16/18 were the last 5 bolt motors used. Five bolt flywheels come in 200mm and 225mm sizes. The 200mm is by far the most common. Does your tranny tail stock look like this with the 6 bolt cover plate? Link to comment
speedy5271 Posted March 28, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2010 That's it. The Flywheel that came out of the donor truck was 225mm 6 bolt. Would a 200mm flywheel would work or do i need to find a 225mm to get it to work right? Link to comment

There's a guy here (in MO) parting a '74. IF it's a standard it will have the 225mm flywheel. Link to comment
