I took off the carb a week ago and rebuilt it with and old friend of mine. I have not been able to get the engine to run properly, i am looking for a fellow ratsuner who knows more than i do to help out. I am willing to trade work for work or your work for cash. dimedriver Posted March 10, 2010 Report Share Posted March 10, 2010 Have you checked the timing with a timing light? Also where is your vacuum advance connected? What is the number on the side of your Dizzy? There is a chart you can check to determine where the vacuum advance should be connected. Did you ever pull the Oil Pump? It could be off a tooth.
