datzenmike Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 Check out the 720s. Look on the engine tag located below the pass side hood hinge on the inner fender. They look like this: Near the bottom is says: TRANS/AXLE FS5W71B... HF 38. The H means solid axle and F is 190mm (I think) but the 38 is short for 3.889 a 37 would be 3.70, a 41 is for 4.11 and so on. This is way easier than pulling one and counting teeth. Stick to the 2wd trucks. . Link to comment

datsunfish Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 Damn Rick,Thats a low ratio rear for a L16. You should move up to a L18 or 20b some day if that 16 ever dies,but Im sure it wont. I still plan to grab one of the 411s at Dougs but been too busy lately to get it. Let me know if you still want one I can help you pull it when I grab mine. Link to comment
