turn signal assembly

Anyone out there have an extra turn signal assembly for a 1971 510. Sometimes my high beams get stuck and I think the plastic piece or where it makes contact went south.

Is off the same year is still on the parts car pretty sure it works I remember the tursignals work but i never got to test out the high beams let me go take a pic Ill post it in a few min

Sometimes my high beams get stuck and I think the plastic piece or where it makes contact went south.

the pic is of the horn contact.

 

the hi/lo switch is a much smaller tab, just below the lever. you can see it move with cover on.

gets stuck often and dirty, with fuzz & grease.

contact cleaner helps and then some conductive grease.

yeh can be dirty contacts but the turn signal lever is loose not tight. Sometimes, I accidently turn on my hi beams and I have to play with the lever just to get it back to low beams.
