1985 mazda 626 project

this is my Mazda 626, its been in my family ever since it was new.

my great grandfather bought it new off university Mazda in 1985,

its seen better days mainly for the reason after my great grampa died

it was given to my aunt, she drove it for a few years and then bought a newer car

then it was taken up to the San Juan islands for storage where it sat for about 2 or so years

and then back down here to my grandparents house where it sat a year or so before it was given to me.

 

In a sense i saved this car because before the idea of putting it in storage

my grandparents we're going to send it off to the scrap yard, but i talked to them and told them i wanted it,

since my parents couldn't afford to buy me a car everyone thought it was a good idea.

Since then its been my project.

center console is beyond repair i was thinking of replacing it with a 720 or 620 center console
