Buzzbomb
Anyone know if you can get a BPT valve for an L20B anywhere? Azone, CSK, and NAPA are no gos. Is there some way for me to bypass it temporarily while I figure out how to fix it or source a different one? One of the fittings on mine was weak and broke while I was replacing a cracked hose. I can't bypass the entire EGR system permanently; I get smogged tested yearly. What does it do, BTW? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
It varies the EGR in direct relation to exhaust back pressure. Heavier throttle, more back pressure, more EGR. Just pull the hose off and plug the end going to the carb. Replace later. Quote Link to comment
