67411sss Posted January 20, 2010 Report Share Posted January 20, 2010 Doesn't sound like you have softmounts, do the carbs have a plastic spacer in between them and the manifold? or just a thin gasket? i have some softmounts lying around if you need some. Link to comment

Any chance you could post a pic or 2.Also you might want to take off the manifold and run a straight edge and see if you have nice straight surfaces on both sides of the manifold. Link to comment
