yenpit Posted January 20, 2010 Report Share Posted January 20, 2010 FOR SALE 1969 DATSUN 510 4 door Sedan - PROJECT CAR - original white paint! 99K original miles, originally a column shift AUTOMATIC car but will include parts to convert to MANUAL (auto trans is NOT available), originally a California car so virtually NO RUST. Car was brought to Michigan in the mid 1980's, parked and stored in garage approximately 25+++ years ago, still has the ORIGINAL black & yellow California license plate, last tagged in 1980. This is a completely stock 4 door Sedan. Car currently stored in Holland Michigan. Car is NOT running, as it is partially disassembled, engine & trans are OUT OF THE CAR, but do come with it. . Car is very straight, with one light bump/dent on the left rear corner near the tail lamp, few other minor dings/small shallow dents, and appears to be almost completely rust free! Again, this car still has the ORIGINAL white paint! Easy car to restore!! Will include a stock rebuildable L16 1600cc engine & 4 speed trans (not in car at this time), stock steel wheels with old tires for transport, interior is mostly complete but needs replacing, dash in car is badly cracked but will include a very nice replacement dash pad, most exterior trim parts are included. . I have LOTS of other parts to offer, but we would set the purchase price of this car FIRST, then buyer can dig thru the other parts for ADDITIONAL COSTS.........for example I also have: 15in aluminum slot mag wheels, 13in Western Turbine wheels, 13x5.5 inch Corvair steel wheels (wider than stock 510), 14in 280ZX Iron Cross wheels, an L20B 2.0L 2000cc engine core, a 200SX dogleg 5speed trans OR a 280ZX 5speed trans, single Mikuni OR Weber sidedraft carb & manifold, dual Hitachi/SU carb set etc etc. Lots of these other parts are available, but again NOT included in the asking price! . Asking $2000.00 cash or best offer. If a midwesterner bought a car out on the west coast, transportation costs from California for a car like this is around $1000........this car is right here in Michigan! Clean title.
