Roadracer Al
So much for the "rust-free California car" idea. The floor pan in my '73 620 is pretty rusty - it has holes, but is not Flintstone material yet. I can fabricate replacements, but if they are commercially available, the results will probably be better, and the project is more likely to get finished. Does anyone if anyone makes these? A google search didn't turn up anything. Quote Link to comment

Roadracer Al
Can't say I'm surprised. Thanks for the info. It's all under the floor mats -- the stuff behind the seat bulkhead looks almost new. Floor mats = evil Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
It's the seals on the windshield and the wiper motor plates. They get dry, crack and leak. You'll want to take care of those after you fix the floor. Quote Link to comment
Roadracer Al
Thanks for the heads up on the windshield and wipers. Yes, the windshield is definitely thrashed. It's cracked, there are stone chips all over it, and the rubber stuff has a 1" gap in it. The DPO squirted caulk into the gap to try and stop the leakage. I'd like a new windshield. I've never needed to have one installed, tho. If you have a glass place do the windshield, do you automatically get new rubber? Is it even available? What do you think the market for 620 floor panels might be? I could build a tool for short run production. Is that worthwhile? Quote Link to comment
