derek Posted October 14, 2009 Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 i picked up a ka24de from a 97 s14 and my 510 doesnt have a power steering rack so i just want to do away with the ps pump. problem is that i need it for the water pump belt. im sure there is a way to just one belt for crank alt and water pump. what have you guys used as solutions to this obstacle? thanks Quote Link to comment
WagDatto Posted October 14, 2009 Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 If you get a KA24E water pump pulley, there's a writeup somewhere telling you the part number you'll need to run one belt for crank-alt and one for crank-water pump. There's also a writeup about modifying the thermostat housing, using a Datsun alternator bracket, and using one belt around all 3. Quote Link to comment
