Tube shocks for the '59???

So looking at the front suspension on the '59, it appears it will need shocks that have a pin on both ends. At least that is what the mounts look like. (shocks were missing when I got it.)

 

Most shocks seem to have a boss on both ends or a pin on one end and a boss on the other.

 

This is what I am looking for I think. But could only find them on ebay in the uk? And they are listed as a rear shock for a "TOYOTA ESTIMA EMINA LUCIDA PAIR GAS REAR SHOCK ABSORBER

HEAVY DUTY GAS FILLED SHOCK ABSORBER PIN PIN CONFIG."

 

There must be an easy way to find these things in different lengths? Please hit me over the head with a 2X4 of obvious. I am not even sure what the technical name for this configuration is to aid in look-up. (Searching for 'pin to pin' isn't helping.)

checked doetsch tech shocks yet? might be a lil pricey but if nothing else they might could build some:unsure:

Did some more digging on this. Started just searching by car types rather that shock types hoping to get lucky.

 

Found a bunch of potential matches. But almost all for rear shocks. But if they are the right length, they should work on the front of the '59.

 

-Fiat 500 and 600 (run on front and back)

-Saab 99 (on rear)

-Citroen c15 (on rear)

-Alfa Romeo- Alphetta sedan and some GTV (on rear)

-And most interestingly, MAzda RX4 and Ford Courier (on rear)

 

So I have faith I can find some. Just need to get the right length.
