Wheel too small

Ok so i am a big guy 6.4 and 200 lbs and i am having a little issue with the sterring wheel catching my legs. Is there any one out there that has made a hub adapter for the 521.

hey i had a 71 datsun 521 and i also am 6'6" 220ish but that doesnt matter ... but i too needed a smaller wheel so i baught a Grant wheel at AutoValue and i had to order in an addapter for the horn/ stearing collum easy install also made by grant just gotta look around too. the wheel i baught was 13" in dia. hope that helps :)

Hmmm you dont by chance have a link to that wheel and adapter do you. I searched on there but all i can find is replacement parts :(

I think all datsuns have the same spline for the wheel.

the grant adapter for the 620 will work, the collar/ bell that goes over the adapter will have a gap between the stock steering wheel colomn backing plate, other than that grant still has them available, thru prp boys, auto zone, all the parts houses that sell grant wheels can get them, about 20.00 - 25.00 dollars, just bought ont for my 620, i will post the part number tuesday.

Hey thanks for the help once again. I think i may have to move the gas pedal over a inch or two i keep catching the brake and gas at the same time when braking (not a good thing) I blame my size 12 feet but it could be the steering wheel keeping me so cramped up.

Hey bro. You can cut the steering column by about 4 inches with no problems. Or you can get a tilt steering coumn out of a datsun 720 pickup. Thats what i ended up doing.
