datzenmike
I believe the ground (BLACK) wire goes to the E terminal on the alternator. The WHITE/RED wire goes to the A terminal on the alternator and comes from the fusible link to the positive side of the battery. The white (or yellowish) plug has two wires arranged in a "T" shape. The top or - (horizontal) one is the YELLOW wire to the F terminal on alternator, and the I (vertical) one is the small WHITE/BLACK wire to the N terminal. These two wires connect to the external voltage regulator. Quote Link to comment
stevensonDNL
Just for fun, I checked my '77 620 alt wiring, and as usual, Datzenmike is absolutely correctomundo, of course! Dan Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I gave for the '73 but I guess Nissan kept the color code the same for all external regulated alts. For '78 and on the WHITE/BLACK wire becomes WHITE/RED when the new internally regulated alts. were introduced. Quote Link to comment
