BACARDI_DWB
ok, I have poly urathane mounts I am going to be installing today, I am also installing zerk fittings to ensure that they do not squeak. I was wondering though, the zerk fittings are only going to beable to oil the outside of the mount and the pin inside will not beable to get any oil. My question is, should I drill a hole through the side of the urathane mount to allow for the grease to reach the pin as it spins. kind of like how a crank oils the bearings? or would that lead to a failed urathane mount? am I over thinking this too much and should just install the mounts with grease reaching the outside? Thanks guys!! Quote Link to comment
BACARDI_DWB
nevermind, I thought the bushings went all the way through, there is plenty of space for my zert fitting to fit and lubricate the entire assembly Quote Link to comment
