mystery issue with 521 truck

ok, so my 521 truck still doesn't want to do anything but sit at home. Jeff had put in a new fuel pump, did some tune up work, fuel filter too. Got a 32/36 webber put on it too, still seems to have a fuel flow issue. Will start (tough to start, but then it has been sitting for a while) then won't keep running. Not sure what the problem is.

I think I will pull off the Weber and have a friend who does webber see if it is missing a piece, as it just doesn't seem to be working quite right.

Only has 89,000 miles on it and the two previous owners were NWDE members. Paint needs redone, but body only has one small area that needs to be smoothed out.

Have a heavy canopy that fits too. Anyone interested...I paid $800 for it. It has the L 16 in it. I don't remember anything else being wrong with it. Tires need to be replaced too. It had been well cared for it, until I got it and then it always seemed to have fuel issues after that. Or just not wanting to run issues. Maybe it just likes being yard art. I would rather sell it to a Datsun person who could get it going and keep it running.

You can call me at (425) 255 5591, if interested. Tana

i know BOTH my 620s have an issue with staying running till they warm up a bit with the weber. but then again both ahve manual chokes that dont work right. if i had the extra $$ right now i would snag it. i love the looks of a 521. most likely it would be as close to a 510 as i would ever get.
