vipokc
i just got a 72 510 shell he was in the middle of restoring it when i got it. when i got the car he told me that he patch up the rust floor pan and the back with fiber glass. after looking at it closer. it look like he just laid fiber glass on top of the rust. i dont know much about fixing rust spots. my question is should i remove everything and start over. or just sand blast the bottom and prime Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I would remove all the fiberglass crap and weld in steel. Or do it your way knowing that you will eventually have to come back and do it later. Quote Link to comment
