72 327 Posted April 9, 2009 Report Share Posted April 9, 2009 (edited) Well I have been beating my head against the wall since I put engine back into my truck. I have had a oil pressure problem on the 327. Well finally figured it out. I have a remote oil filter system since the headers come really close to the oil filter area. So after using a drill powered pump shaft we found out there is a one way valve on the dual oil filter mount. Duh but what ever got it and started it up for the first time since rebuild and new tranny install. I know it doesnt sound as good as lynch's motor (hehe) but hey its a motor and its in a 620 so here ya go. I will be taking the regular cam next time we go out to finish up the truck. Shitty camera phone video turn speakers down a bit too. sorry Also had to put in a 16" electric fan since it was overheating at stop lights in 110 deg weather. It should be set up for cruizin this summer. Hopefully the rear end isnt toast will see in the next couple days when I get back out there. Edited April 9, 2009 by 72 327 Quote Link to comment
