Distributor help!!

 

 

IM WORKING ON MY KA, converting the Distributor base from an lb20 to a ka. On the Lb20 riser only one hole lands on the ka. case an its suspose to have 2 will it hold with only one bolt

You've swapped a Z24 spindle in it already right??? The KA spindle is splined to fit the KA CAS. You can see it in this picture:

 

Hmmm that's interesting. Well, take a look at a Z24 timing cover. It has the bolt holes that will fit the dizzy base.... not sure the L dizzy will work on it or not though.

Here's a Z22 timing cover ... same as a Z24 only 2cm shorter. That's a Z24i CAS that fits in the end.

Best fit would be a Z24 timing cover with 4 plug Z20E EI dizzy

I no the shaft has to be changed to a (z) shaft but what i was woundering is how to mount the base plate to ka. case. an if one bolt will hold the dizzy instead of two. (from ka case to l20b base)
