  1. Late reply  here is some 910 love ... since this was taken car is now auto with a 75 hp shot of gas
  2. Auto update with some pics A hoist and trans jack make life easier old manual out clutch was obviously slipping physicaly similar Slight tweek Its in Wont break this Shifter install
  3. Update time Recently went to the drags , and with my mechanicly sympathetic driving netted off a 12.6 @ 118 on the street tyres , traction and or clutch was an issue  The manual gearbox is starting to get a bit noisy , so ive decided to go the automatic route Auto is a jatco RE4R03A from a Z32tt , ive just got the box back from being rebuilt , it now is manualised valve body , billet servo , kevlar bands and all the good fruit that will make it reliable Stall convertor is 3000 rpm as we will still see some highway driving .. a 50 shot of gas will be used at the drags to get it up off the line along with some suitable drag radials this time Flexplate has been replaced with a stronger aftermarket type as the factory one will not cope when the engine is rebuilt for more HP hopefully it will be all done by christmas , next on the list is E85
  4. Awesome car , but im biased  if only we got the L6 powered 910's here in Australia , we had the short front L4 model and like you guys there are not too many around anymore ... Goodluck with the project
  5. While i was motivated i installed the progressive shift light ive had here for the last 2 years
  6. After all the headaches its done
  7. Been a while so an update with pics is in order  Got some new wheels , ive gone back to a 17" wheel combo as the 18" were eating the guards away ... Found some old simmons wheels in the style i liked OM17 they were silver and 7" all round , A 12hr round trip and they were home. The backs fit good with plenty of room to widen inwards , fronts however touch calipers :crying: not by much but enough to need a 5 mm spacer and some light machining of the nissan lettering off the calipers ... they now fit but wheel studs are too short , new wheel studs will go in next week and it will be finished ... I got the wheels painted gold and the outers polished with new bolts and the rears were widened to 8.5 "
  8. tThe water to air works great in the car , it is pumped around via an electric water pump , has its own radiator, large water reservoir and fan that is operated manually via a toggle switch previously i used and air to air cooler , it was at its limit and i needed to go bigger , this was not an option as i need to cut the front end up to make it fit . so the smaller water to air was fitted bonus was the throttle response was improved by using shorter piping The intake runners have had the butterfly removed so they are at the long open setting , low down torque is sacraficed for better top end
  9. Here is a video of the day http://youtu.be/jeb4TJXwR7Q
  10. The Sydney Datsun club had a dyno day today , the car made its best power so far 420 rwhp
  11. The intake manifold is stock factory twin throttle , The plenum chamber has 2 main sections seperated by a butterfly operated by vacuum Here is a stock engine showing the manifold
  12. Thanks for the comments guys , definately fun to drive
