  1. Ya thats my plan.

Take the engine and other good parts.

    Then sell the wheels.

    And scrap the rest.

Pretty much the whole interior is gone.

But is has a light up walmart shift knob!

O and they it has a picket fence bed!!

The seats are dry cracked in the vinal centers because of the "convertable".

It has one good tire ;)

    It has spray painted flaims

    But the engine runs good.

    And it has a tachometer.

Most of the body panels are only held on by 1 bolt.

Hood is just held on my the latch.

O and their was an umbrella behind the seat just in case it rained.

I have a a87 peanut head, l20 electronic dist, and the webber off of my 510?

Can i use these on this engine?

  2. I picked up this truck last night off of craigslist for $200.

    CONVERTABLE!!!

Well it has the z24. The tranny only has 5th and reverse.

The engine runs well and i plan to swap it into my 510.

Should I find another z tranny or can i use the 4 speed with the z bellhousing?

Has anyone done this swap before?

And can i adapt my weber 32/36 from my 510 to the z24?

If not i got the harness from the 78 that i think might have the plug.

    Should i use this?

  4. The distrubuter is off a 78 620.

So i am going to need a new coil off of the 78 or newer one. im confused.

So what is the control box for??

And do i need it at all?

I was also thinking about getting the msd ignition and blaster 2 coil... is it worth the money.
