  1. She’s looking good as always Steve! I feel you, if it’s not one thing it’s another. We live and we learn. Oh well, keep up the awesome progress!
  2. My truck is running fine with no issues and I have AC. Recently I decided to change my water pump and stock fan from the 7 fins to the 8 fins, just to get more airflow and for piece of mind. I also changed out my plastic radiator to an OEM one with the shroud that was still usable. The shroud directs more air flow to the rad for better cooling. We’ll see how it goes in the next few weeks. Good luck on yours. I found out later that the water pump in my truck was a cheap China made one. I changed it to the cast iron impeller and it was manufactured in Japan.
  3. I have one tilt combo switch with intermittent wipers, recently rebuilt if your interested or come up empty handed. It’s for 85/86 model. See photos below.
  4. Thank you Sir! We definitely honor and take pride in our trucks. You can almost recognize a Guam built Napz from anywhere.
  5. Thank you sir! This truck we be passed down to my son when the time comes.
  6. You are absolutely correct sir. Guam has been in the 720 scene since the day they sold them here at the Local Nissan dealership.
  7. It’s been a while since I posted here, but here’s a pic of my 720 project that’s nearly completed. The truck initially was shipped here to Guam back in 2015 from Arizona. The truck sat in an open garage for 6 yrs due to a bad trans. Found out later that the 5th/rev shift fork broke in pieces. My cousin bought the truck early last year from the guy who had it shipped in. The truck continued to sit in a garage at my cousins place for a few more months before I finally scooped it up for $1,500. It was perfect timing as my cousin really need the cash at the time. Since then (May 2021) i purchased and shipped in a used trans and got it running. Redid and Completed the interior and engine Bay Area. I also added factory AC and power steering to this base model 720. This year on Father’s Day the truck went in for minor bodywork and paint and I just got it back a few weeks ago. It’s been a long journey and plenty money well spent into it but I’m satisfied with how it all turned out. It’s far from perfect but definitely meets my expectation and others. I had the truck painted the factory color code#106 Blue mist metallic 2 stage. Thanks for dropping in. Let me know what you all think. Before (June 2021) After (October 2022)
  8. Hope this helps. Straight from my 1986 FSM.
  9. I’d like to see a photo of the compressor you got from Rock auto that matches with the OEM 720 AC lines….I’ve only been lucky with used OEM compressors from the JY.
  10. Just out of curiosity, How much is he asking? Truck looks clean from where I stand…
  11. Here is a photo of two other switches I have for spare. I got lucky to find one that is an OEM NOS never been installed (newer looking switch). The other is what I need to get cleaned and rebuilt. Also keep in mind that the diameter on the switches are different between tilt and non tilt models. All my switches are for 85/86 Tilt steering.
  12. It’ll be best just to get the combo switch rebuilt as well. There’s a guy named GD Humfries whose a master at rebuilding those switches. But like mike said, it could also be a ground issue. Also check the connection to the dimmer switch. I had the same issue once when the dash lights didn’t turn on. Discovered that it was the connection on the back of the dimmer switch. Connected and disconnected it several times to get a good ground and connection and BAM, everything worked. The photo is of my spare 85/86 switches that Were rebuilt and tested and work like new. Keep in mind that the switches for the 83/84 have a different connection to that of the 85/86. If you plan to purchase a used rebuilt one, Make sure you are getting the correct one.
