Interior was a little rough, front seats need recovering but rear seat came out ok.. kinda crunchy still.

New engine, keeping the old one as it's number matching

Yeah it's a 69 Mike. I've never seen one so original. All the wiring is untouched, it was never messed with. So when we got it to the shop we took a closer look and realized that at some point somebody drove a fork into the oil pan, so that engine was taken out and set aside. A good friend vintage races mini's and 510's and had a brand new stock 1600 that wasn't any use to him so that went in with a rebuilt automatic transmission..that cost more than 4 times what I paid for the wagon..lol

After we got it home I stripped the interior out to find really clean floors

I'm trying.... struggling to figure that out 

So my son and I bought this wagon out of a north Dakota farm field where it had been sitting since the mid 70's. At first I bought it for parts before I realized how clean it was. So now it has a new 1600 and a rebuilt automatic transmission.

Just a heads up that rock auto has 23 510 gas tanks available.

Trying to get a hold of 71dimer for a carpet kit, anyone know if he's still doing them?
