There's a place in Romulus MI that dips and e coats. I'm thinking I'm going with blasting first then dipping and e coating after panel replacement 

Thinking about options, either blast or dip. I'm leaning towards getting it dipped to stop any future rust issues.

I think this goes beyond what the patch panels cover..haha

Your definitely going all in on a car most would pass on. Makes me feel better about my bucket.

Junk..lol it needs rockers inner and outer, floors, trunk floor, and quarters.. oh and a inner wheel well. 20 years ago I would have scrapped it but nowadays I guess I'll restore it.lol it's also has some random spots from mouse piss. But it is complete and still had the numbers matching engine in it and the wiring is nice. (Not that I'll use it)

Nice, I don't think I'd trust mine to be on a rotisserie yet until I address the quarters and rockers.

The second picture is just showing it's factory blue, It's definitely factory blue just was odd that it was green underneath as my other cars we're a flat sealer/primer.

It's rusty... going to need some panels..

Rustbin my harvest gold one is a yellowish red sealer/primer but it's harvest gold under the seam sealer. This one looks like cactus green and even has some gloss to it.

So after tearing my car apart it seems that it started life cactus green and then was painted blue, now when I say painted blue I mean at the factory as it's blue under the firewall insulation, dash etc. It's green under the factory seam sealer but blue on top and the paint code sticker calls out blue, so my question is did they paint all blue cars green first? Or was mine a mess up?
