thanks for the link to the files on thingiverse, now I need to get the 3d printer fired up and print me a few. I am going to use ABS. Should be plenty strong.

Like the title says, I am looking for a pair of the plastic kick panels that came in the 86 720. Black is preferred but any color will do. I could also use a factory rear view mirror.

    Ask for price

  3. If anyone on here has these, in good condition, for the drivers and passengers side they would part with please let me know.
  4. Yes, I have searched everywhere I can think of.
  5. Does anyone know where you can buy the rubber that goes around the small king cab side windows in an 85 720 KC? I need both sides. I am restoring one and can find most any of the other pieces for the truck except these. I guess my other option is to find a parts truck that has decent ones but I figured since all of them would be old they would end up cracking and tearing when I take them out.
  6. Thanks, I found a local shop to do the tig welding and surface grinding work. Unfortunately, once they cleaned the head up they found two cracks so I guess I'll be getting another head.
  7. Thanks, it looks like that is exactly what happened. The head gasket blew and the previous owner drove it too long, probably trying to limp it home.
  8. Hello, I am new to the forum. I just purchased an 85 720 ST with a blown head gasket, engine was rebuilt a few years ago. My plan is to get it running and fix it up, replace parts, paint it, etc. I just took the head off of it this evening and it definitely did have a blown head gasket between cylinders 3 and 4 but unfortunately there is also a bad place in the head that I think is too deep to be machined flat. Has anyone here purchased a re-manufactured head from RockAuto and if so were there any issues? I would upload a pic of the damage but I don't see an option to attach a picture.
