  1. My bad dude, that was me 😂

We get a lot of spam from overseas accounts trying to sell t-shirts, I saw your post and just assumed it was one of those. Probably the only time in the history of Facebook that one of these posts was actually real, and not from some rando account based out of Bangladesh.

  2. Battleships are obsolete, and they have been for a long time

Tanks and armored vehicles are becoming obsolete
At the rate drones and unmanned aircraft are being developed, manned aircraft (fighters) are becoming obsolete

War and the way we're familiar with fighting is more different today than it has ever been. We have never seen a global conflict with such an incredible opportunity to easily create mass casualties.

  3. It has been pretty interesting watching everyone come unhinged after more hidden Jan 6th footage was released in the last 24hrs. It surprises me that the left, who is usually pro-show it all crying and asking for censorship.

We humans are such fucktards that are blind to our own hypocrisy.

I am running 285/70-17 currently on stock stuff.

Good to know what I'll be upgrading when these are shot 😄

ahh yes, the tried and true 🤠

Be prepared to lose a few mpg when you upgrade 😂 I average 14 on a good day after going up in size.

    More details please.

A basic Titan swap consists of one of two combinations:

    The simple swap:
1: Stock Titan lower control arms

2: Adjustable Titan upper control arms (I'm running the Z1 Offroad billet arms)

3: Titan inner and outer tie rod ends
4: Longer axles for the R180 differential.
    5: An appropriate length coilover

    The better swap:

1: Stock Titan lower control arms

2: Adjustable Titan upper control arms (I'm running the Z1 Offroad billet arms)

3: Titan inner and outer tie rod ends
4: Titan M205 front diff (100% drop in, just be sure to match ratios)

    5: Titan front CV axles.

    6: An appropriate length coilover

Ideally, you'll do the latter of the two, because the outer CV angle at full lock and full droop with R180 diff and axles is not good. This is the setup I'm running because I was too cheap to track down a Titan M205 in time.

The R180 front likes to grenade the case and ring gear, so if you wheel hard on one, it's just a matter of time before you break something.

Coilovers are a pretty expensive part of the kit since there aren't many options. The only two off-the-shelf options I'd consider at this point is Radflo or Dobinson's extended travel. I'm running Dobinson's IMS extended.

They sure are. What size tire with the Titan stuff?

I have 295/70/17's on it right now, and I've been running them for about 30,000 miles. It fits with stock arms and 2.5'' lift, but requires some fender trimming on the rear portion to clear the tire at full lock.

I'm getting ready to move up to 35's with the Titan stuff though, but I need to knock the pinch welds down behind the front tire.

Looking for a good throwout bearing for my 76 280z. I ordered a new Timken and the bearing face has lateral movement. My original has no play at all like that. Are there any that are made in US or Japan? Thanks

You need an OE Koyo. Why not just buy factory Nissan?

Like Kelmo said, definitely still available.

If 30502-21000 is right (and I'm 90% sure it is) I have them in stock at work. We use them with multi-disc VQ clutches that need a thin bearing and they're very reliable.

I remember passing through Flowery Branch when we saw these signs, billboards and statues. So somewhere near there.

There was a whites only school near my grandparent's place too. Outside of Brunswick. It was around 1985 that I remember seeing that. The wording was different. It didn't actually say whites only, but I remember being shocked.

Oh yeah, 1980's GA wouldn't surprise me. It's a very different place now, especially near Flowery Branch. GA is very much a melting pot now, and pretty well past that phase.

Having spent a lot of time in Georgia, I have seen my share of KKK billboards, black dummies hanging from trees, white hooded statues holding torches circling a black statue. I have seen all these things, in Georgia, with my own eyes.

Where have you seen these? I've lived in GA for 25 years, traveled all across the state and I have never seen any of these things you said you've seen.

In fact, I've traveled all across the South and never seen anything remotely close to these.

It's so strange to me that I only ever hear about these things from people that don't live in GA.

Did you guys see that the Alfa is for sale. Opening day and already a $201K bid.

Begs the question, if the 46 car went up for auction, what would that fetch?

Wow I saw that...didn't realize it was THE Alfa.

I think you'd find the BRE car would probably sell for near the Alfa. Alfa collectors are obviously willing to spend serious coin just because it's an Alfa....but there are a lot of guys out there that have and will spend that same amount or more on a vintage Datsun/Nissan racer.

The #46 510 (owned by Nissan) and #46 240Z (the remains of the crashed original and re-bodied racer) are both in ATL. I know the guy that owns many of the original racers, including some ex Bob Sharp cars and a spare GTP ZX-T chassis. I imagine if Nissan ever elected to sell the #46 510, they would offer it to him before it ever went to auction.

  11. I'll answer this, having had opportunities to speak to various oil manufacturers years ago for work related training.

Modern synthetic oils can be mixed without consequence. This is why part synthetics or "blends" exist. Ideally, you would stay with synthetic oil because they are better in almost every way. (I say almost because there are some conventionals that have higher ZDDP, Moly, and other anti-wear additives than some synthetics.)

If you have an engine that has been on conventional oils its entire life and hasn't been serviced regularly (seals, gaskets, etc) it's possible to see small leaks, but not because the oils are more slippery(they are, but this isn't what causes the leaks). This happens because the synthetic oils have better detergents that can break down old oil/grease residue in seal and gasket surfaces. In these cases, the engines already had oil leaks that resulted in buildup on these surfaces that can act as a "seal" as oil accumulates. The high detergent synthetics can break down some of that residue as it seeps, making the leaks more obvious.

Synthetic oils generally have better lubricating properties so engines that have seen only synthetics throughout their life usually have longer seal life. This is why you should stay with synthetics.

    Change it to private

If you make a group private on Facebook, it can never be changed back. This means posts can no longer be shared out of the group and they don't have visibility to anyone else. This sucks.

If we ever made it private, it would be a last resort.

    simple and easy

add that to the sign up description or just leave as is

answer the damn question mate 😁

That's pretty much where we're at now, but no one answers the questions which is why posts like this exist.

We deny over 1,000 new members a month because they don't answer the questions.

  14. That's me and a few others. Not so much a matter of being asleep at the wheel, but the group has been under CONSTANT spam attack for the last 8 months. We have 341 current join requests from the last 2 days alone and most of those are overseas accounts trying to share bullshit into the group.

Since no one answers the questions when submitting a join request, it's virtually impossible to differentiate between what is a legitimate account and what is garbage.

This is a consequence of Facebook's recent changes to how public groups function.
