So I'm going to start over with my post:

First a little back story about myself and Melba toast.

Autobody and auto repair for about 20 years is my day job, so I dont always want or have time to due my own prodjects. Over the the years i have done a few cars for myself, but mostly for others. So about a year ago I got the itch to do a car, but what? I recantly bought a new house and was in need of a truck for a little yard work on the weekends, and needed to be my daily driver. One day a customer came into the shop for an estimate driving a Datsun 620 std cab, olive green, and looking pretty good. I have had a few Datsun's back in the day two 510 2 doors and a wagon in the late 80's early 90's. The wagon got a NAPZ & 5speed from a200sx in 92. This road has been travaled a couple times. 4 SR's in 240's and a front clip RHD conversion. So that was it, the truck I needed was a 620 King cab (so I would fit being 6'2Fist stop, Craigslist & BAM a 1978 620 not looking to bad, but ran like crap, so bought it. A new carb, some tires and wheels on the cheap, and now I have a daily driver. After about six months I decide to do a little matanace and repair, ball joint, tie rods................ next thing i know I'm rebuilding the front end. A little more time goes bye and I'm thinking the L20b needs a little more pep in her step, so to the interweb I go. (Dear Craigslist: thank you for all crap for sale) KA24DE being pulled for a SR20DET swap, thats the one, Noth to B-ham I go in the 620 to get me a KA.
