I bought this matchbox distributor for my 70 521 pickup. I sold the truck last month so I have no use for it anymore.
It is really clean and includes the wire harness and pedastal and clamp. It also includes a extra matchbox module.

I have a 70 521 that I got in a trade about a year ago. aAt one time the previous owner was on this board.
This truck starts and runs but it smoke just a little when you step on it. The charging system works as well as the on board air compressor. I started doing rear disc conversion and never finished it.
The Good: Very minimal rust on the whole truck. Floors and rockers are really good.
Converted to cs130 alternator wired up properly with a "good" tensioner.
engine driven sanden 508 compressor for the air ride.
Bag set up with triangulated 4 link in the rear
Brand new rear axle bearings and seals. Brand new Beebani rear disc brackets with brand new rotors, pads and rebuilt calipers.
The bad: Rear brake conversion needs the metal lines ran and hooked up to the hoses.
Master cylinder needs to be upgraded and front brakes need to be converted.
Motor smokes a little when you step down on it.
This truck could be a driver if the brakes were fixed. I started doing it but I have a 51 Chevy that I am also working on. Need to get rid of this truck.
I am asking 1800.00 O.B.O.

I am looking for the rear bearing pre load shims for a 521 pickup.
I replaced my rear wheel bearings and I don't have enough shims to adjust the bearings corrrectly. Used would be fine. Thanks
Does anyone know where I can get some extra bearing pre-load shims for my rear wheel bearings on a 1970 521?
I will even buy used one if any one had any.
Does anyone know the correct part number or where to get the outer rear wheel seals for a 70 521 pickup?
I took my axles to the local machine shop to get new bearings and seals installed. I purchased outer seals from the local auto parts. They sold me timken p/n 1974. These seale are to big on the I.D. They fit way too loose.
I did a search and found a couple people with the same problem but I could not find a answer. Please let me know if yall have any info on this. Thanks
