This is my mates International which I believe were the same as a dodge, runs a 338 V8 I think, He runs a steel fab company, I'm working/talking about getting maybe a ls swap or efi conversion and gearbox update just to make it nice and some airbags down the track.
That is the same cab that IHC used in the US, with a different front end. Not the same as a Dodge. IH used thicker steel in their bodywork than the big 3 did so they held up to rough use better. I grew up on a farm, so I have experience with the brand. 😎

the pic is there, try rebooting.
I shouldn't have to click on a link to view and all I get when I click on it is a tiny square with a logo on a large black page. You
should be posting the photo directly, not posting links.

Honestly, any 1200 with a good A14/A15 and a 5 speed should be able to hit 95-100. I had a stock one (with a Weber 32/36, though) do 89, and my modified A15 had no trouble breaking 100 (barely).
Mine came with headers, and some odd Weber on it that had driveability issues so I replaced it with a DGV 32/36. The overdrive and a little downhill helped it get past 100. 😎
I ran across some leftover 1200 stuff that I need to send to you, if you can PM me your address?

No one, in their right mind, would drive a 1200 160 MPH. Mine barely do 60 MPH.
I did get mine up to 97 in Nevada when I drove it home from purchasing in the Bay Area. It did have a 1400 and 5 speed though.

On that front, a 620 gauge is a direct swap. In fact, the whole gauge cluster will swap over. Those are much easier to find in good condition than 1200 bits.
I don't know if you remember but I put a 280Z speedo in mine so I would have a trip odometer plus the 160 mph speedo looked impressive. 🤣

I was going to say try temporarily installing a mechanical gauge to check the operating temp. then go from there. If the original gauge is the problem then there are companies that can restore/repair it. I hope it is only the sending unit though as that is the easiest fix.

A long time ago when I was living in a town house and had no room in the garage for a work bench and vise I was drilling in a sheet metal piece. I was wearing sandals while holding with vise-grips and you know the rest. Big gash in my foot and I couldn't put my steel-toe work boots on for a few days so I had to miss some work. 😒

My neighbor has one of these in the military green.
There is a guy that imports and sells them here in the Denver area.

A good friend of mine has one of those that is charcoal gray and silver. It looks good even if it only has a lame gutless 305 under the hood.

Theres one of these at the end of my road.... my wife wants it but the price for these in nice condition are going up...
The one we walk past is a driver... 5spd, tee tops and still has the 2 jump seats in the back.. .
Might be a good investment, I haven't seen one on the road around here in a long time, and this is Subaru country.

This needs some explanation as I have never heard of a Cosworth Desoto before. All the Desoto Hemis I have seen just said Desoto and it was stamped into the metal valve cover. I just did some research and Cosworth didn't exist until a year after the last Desoto Hemi was built.

Some of those old cars didn't have hydraulic brakes, they used cables and the shoes were metal on metal.
I don't know about other makes but the first year ford had hydraulic brakes was 1940.
