Got my motor in the truck today, sounds like a solid motor.

Now I get to learn how to do a valve job.

Got the motor in and started.

I need to do the coolant, exhaust and tune the carb or rerun vacuum lines.

Wow, those floors were bad, can't wait to see some new metal there.

It seems that just the threading on the upper portion is frayed and missing. How difficult would it be to leave the leather there and just retie it?

Is there a special way to thread it?

Was pushing my 240sx in the garage and my GF was steering, I started pushing and it sat there not budgeing. Rev it up a bit and still nothing. Rev it up good and nothing.

"Hey I forgot the parking brake! now try." I think this is why I am doing a motor swap right now. FML.

*note* my 240sx has godly brakes for some reason.
