And yes, the frame is burley for a small truck. Full-boxed. The D21 is only boxed from the fromt to the back of the cab. The ass end is channeld and not boxed. I was really impressed that the stock 720 is fully boxed.

GVWR on my door frame plate claims 4085lbs. Fr GAWR 1765 7.00-14 (B) Tires 14x5.0 Rims @ 22psi cold Rr GAWR 2385 7.00-14 (B) Tires 14x5.0 Rims @ 32psi cold 2wd 1980 720 w/L20B Removed AC, center console, stereo, speakers, and ALL floor covering except the rubber Datsun mats. I also have the rear glass and gasket removed right now. I looked on my door plate and under the hood and cant find the curb weight specified by Nissan. I have a pass side innner fender plate (eng. comp), a emissions and vacuum sticker under the pass side hood, an anti-freeze sticker in front of the pass side of the radiator, and a paint color # sticker... Then the manufacurer plate in the driver door well. Am I just missing it?

Why are people so douchy on this site? Nice V8 swap! The people demanding pics, if you notice, chime in on almost every thread. They treat people like shit, and are usually a bit on the argumentative side. Instead of simply being cool and providing information, they knit pick minute details and have frustrated many-a-newbie. I check out a thread expecting a cool truck and stoked Datsun fans, but time and again the same shit happens. The truck is getting OR registration next week. All they require is a $7 safety inspection (horn, windshield, tires, brakes, and basic visual inspection to make sure the yard gnome wont fly off of your hood). Then its $77 same as Cali for commercial registration (all trucks without camper shells are considered commercial in CA). I am also going to get the Oregon Wine Country plates. Im an agriculture guy, so I like those plates. $54 for those.

Those stencils were usually installed where the truck was originally sold. Common in the '80s. Now dealers have license plate frames with their name on them. Some truck dealerships still stencil a lot of the cheaper work/farm trucks. It could have been bought out of state, but highly unlikely.
