I've had this Can Am Box for a few months now and I'm finally starting my wiring on my 510 and I have a few questions on the S13 sr20det diagrams. First off the orange wire Ecu Pin #36 to Starter Solenoid, Is that wired someplace between solenoid and ignition start? Second I don't have any of the stock wiring for my car no ignition key just some toggle switches with a push start button and kill switch, So there is no Old Coil black/white wire do I replace that with ignition start power as well or just "key on/Switched 12v"?
Approximately how much room should I have from the end of the output shaft to the bottom of my input of the drive shaft?Does that make sense? I have a drive shaft that I'm trying to shorten.
I'm using external pumps, the carburetor/lift 4-7psi pump I picked up at a parts store and I got an MSD pump for my main pump around 40psi, I was trying to avoid welding anything to it but if I have to I will.
Yeah I'm going to use 5/16 lines as both pumps, surge tank and filter have 5/16 fittings.
I'm doing an sr20 swap and I want to use my stock fuel tank, my set up is a carburetor/lift pump to surge tank to main pump, but I don't have a return fitting for my return line. So my question, Could I remove the top breather hose from the tank and connect my return line there? How much would it affect my fuel consumption? any one ever try it?
So here is what I'm wondering. I've been searching for an SR20DET (well more like Window Shopping) and Looks like the cheapest place I've seen these engines are on Ebay. My question is, Is Ebay the best place to get one considering the prices? Please let me know what you think.
