  1. ok Cool thanks man. Waiting on your pm.
  2. Ok thanks man, Let me know. It gets kinda annoying popping ur trunk to disconnect your battery so it wont die while ur in the store or at work lol.
  3. Nope didn't do it before the new ecu swap. Also i unplugged the ECU BUP wire and it still stayed on. The only way i have been turning it off is either disconnecting the ECCS LSS red/ black wire from the can am box or just pulling the ground off the battery. Any other ideas?? Thanks.
  4. Icehouse, I got something to pick your brain. I have a sr20det in my 510 and today i hooked up my battery to my car, it currently has a can am box, but i noticed the middle relay (green led) stayed on with the ignition turned off. I started messing around with the wires to see which one was giving it juice. Its the ECCS LSS red w/ black wire from the ecu harness, i put a volt meter to it and it seems to a ground, is it suppose to be a ground or power wire?.... I do have an aftermarket ecu that i recently changed out from the stock (about 2 weeks ago) btw don't know if that matters or not. Its a megasquirt pnp for the sr. Let me know what you think. Thanks man. Great box and i love it!! been running it for over 3 yrs now.
  5. i did pm icehouse on friday.. hasnt responded yet. the wire is bolted to the board, so how could it be a bad solder? i thought the wire i was using had a short somewhere so i have already replaced it and when i recall looking at the board nothing looked out of place or broken. maybe the wire eyelet isnt getting a good connection on the board?? also no leds are lighting up when i turn the key either.
  6. so maybe someone here can help me... so i have can/am box for a while now worked perfect... i drive the car pretty much every weekend. I went to start it today and nothing. So i saw when i turned the key on none of the lights on the can/am box lit up. So i checked my key power, got 12v, checked my line coming from the battery 12v, check the screw where u mount the wire to the chip and im only getting 5v with key off and 0v with key on and all the fuses are still good. i have not checked the relays yet but i hear one or two clicking when i turn the key over........ does anyone have any idea what it could be? i have not touch anything on the car in like 2 months. Like i said i just drove the car last weekend with no problems.. let me know. Thanks for the help guys.
  7. well i live in Tucson, AZ aka Desert! not much water here lol... ill ask around and see what i need to do. Thanks for the info.
  8. Was any of the tanks u used from 1972 or older by chance???
  9. i have a walbro 255 in tank and a bosch 044 in line, 1000cc injectors, fuel lines are -8an to and -6an return good for 800whp.... i was told -6an was good enough for 550whp but dont wanna test it out and all fuel lines are teflon.... i just need to know if i have to coat the stock tank or just leave it alone and itll be fine...if you could ask ur friend what he did about his tank situation. im maxed out on pump gas we have out here and want more power and water/meth is a pain so far.... we only have 91 out here.
  10. forgot to add... im EFI. sr20det swap.
  11. Anyone running their datsun on E85. Just wondering what things did you change and what didnt you. I have all SS fuel lines, teflon braided line to fuel rail and tank, but running stock tank.... wondering if anyone have theirs coated or changed it out for a fuel cell or what not. Chime in and let me know what you think.... Thanks. Edit: Car is fuel injected, sr20det swap.
  12. i don't plan on going any lower. i already scrape when i go up my drive way. So ur saying dont go with a 0 offset but something with a negative offset?? I want to try and fit something wider than 225's in there to help with my traction issues.
  13. Cool thanks for the website... i took some pics with a ruler. I fee like i have plenty of room but i dont wanna buy the rims then they wont fit if you know what i mean. I would rather buy a smaller offset than what i have and just spacers on it. So below are the pics i took.
  14. i have 15x7 +25 on my 2 door. I have 1/2'' spacers on the front to make sure it wouldnt rub and about 1/4'' spacers cuz the tires looked close to the rear lower control arm but mines lowered too.
