Should I make the purchase? From what I know they both run but no streetable and between the two I can make one good one. The price is great. From what I'm read the engines are reliable just maintain them as you would a datto and they'll last forever.

there reliable if not done already throw a weber on there the stock carbs on these engines are total crap the passages are so tiny it takes nothing to plug and there are alot of right angles inside the carb aside from that throw a good head gasket set at it and as long as it has compression you should be good to go what do they have in them for transmissions stock it would be a single range 4 speed

4 speed. The carbs look like the Mazda b2000 carbs with 100 lines and hoses all over the place. I got a call back today. I'm 6th in line and he's in dallas right now. He said he'll let me know if they're still available on saturday. I'm thinking of going to VA and getting the omega I was talking about so I don't feel so foolish about posting it.
