pathfinder rear is going to spin one wheel only if lifted off the ground. I have an ARB air locker in my X.

I asked my dad and he told me my grandfather welded his rear. Is a welded rear viable for offroad? He was a street racer.

Ya an air locked uses a compressor to lock the rear only when you want/need it. A welded rear is just locked all the time. Welded is viable for both on and off road if the person is willing to deal with the issues a welded rear comes with.
