datsunfish
About 3 years ago I had a closed chamber a87 milled in the hopes of rebuilding it. Thats when I learned about the bronze intake seats. Mine were shot as they should be. Since the seats need replacing anyways why not throw in some 280 44m valves.right? Grind on all valves and seats,4 seat install...not priceless...$250. I walked away but I already got the head milled a couple years back and recently bought the valves so I guess Ill just do it. I sold my 620 and expected to spend most of its $$ on datsuns anyways.:D I think a built up a87 should be a good head for any block it happens upon. Unless i do the 2.3 Then should I use the z24 pistons to keep the comp down? right?...Umm datsunmike?.. Quote Link to comment
