NorCalDime Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 so i have a sohc that i have all wired up according to the great info found in the how to's. So im sitting there and getting ready to start in out of the car and i thought, ummm how do i start it. So i somewhat figured it out and took the wire that is supposed to go to my fuse box and hooked that to a battery, then hooked the orange wire from the ka harness into a wire that went to the started silinoid and then touched both of those wires to the batt and it started. Now when this is in my car how is this gonna start? i feel like a total idiot. I have a push button start now so would i have to splice into that? do i just connect the orange to the silinoid and add power to it? Also the alternator was an issue. How do i connect that up? i currently have a two prong plug and a hot wire attached to my alternator so do i just attach those to my ka? Quote Link to comment
