Kevin_
Hello I just recently bought a 1975 datsun 710 wagon. And the seats in it or done for they fell apart. I was wondering if there is a replacement or something off another vehicle that can work. Please let me and thank you for your time. Quote Link to comment
belial77
Any luck on your seats. I just got a 75 710 coupe and my front seats are done as well. Let me know what you did? Thanks Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Lots and lots of seats will work. Just be sure to save the factory seat rails, so you can bolt the replacements seat onto the floor. Head down to pick-n-pull and have a look see. Smaller, lighter seats fit best, but even big Honda Accord power seats can be used. Bucket seats from these cars have been used: * Pontiac Fiero * Ford Escort * Yota Corolla * Nissan 240SX * Honda Civic * 240Z * Nissan 300Z * Subaru GL * Suzuki Swift GTI Aftermarket bucket seats (racing seats) are also popular: Recaro, Forza, Bride, Cobra, Sparco, Momo etc etc some simple cross pieces will let you bolt most seats to the factory rails, like this Does the 710 have this? Some USA Datsun seats from 1975, the passenger seat has a cutout on the bottom to clear the catalytic converter. If you raise up the passenger seat a couple of inches, most will clear using spacers (stackes of washers) on the inside rail Edited June 1 by ggzilla Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
These are from late '90s early 2000s Subaru station wagon or estate car. Used the stock seat rails welded to the underside seat frames. But leather seats, electric up down, forward/back and tilt with hand adjustable lumbar support. Great for long trips, as you get tired you can fine tune your comfort. Bolsters on seat are not so big you wreck yourself getting in and out. All things equal between two choices, if one has the adjustable lumbar support get it. Quote Link to comment
rosso
I just finished installing a pair of BMW E30 Sport Seats in my '72 510 wagon. Good Fit, looks period correct, has good support and only required a bit of drilling on the factory seat brackets. 3 Quote Link to comment
EDM620
I went with seats from a Sentra (I think) At full recline in the limited space in my 620KC. Wanted to go with leather power seats but I chose these for comfort plus they were in great condition at the wreckers. Quote Link to comment
