slipstream411 Posted October 6, 2023 Report Share Posted October 6, 2023 Son and I went to Douglas AZ to get a L20b the truck was really rusted but I saw it had a tailgate it was a loss but the word Datsun was good so I gave the guy 30 dollars and he let me cut them out. Woo hoo. As a bonus the guy had an oem datsun tach he threw in for nothing. So with engine, tailgate letters, and tach my son and I head home. Then I found a 76 daysun that wasn't running and got it for 600. It took a week but fixed it and sold it. In listing it ran across Sammy in Scottsdale he wanted the datsun letters (really awesome guy) so he traded me a tailgate for them. So I sanded primed and painted the tailgate oem blue with white letters and restored it to mint it now rest on my hallway wall for my loving wife to use as travel magnet board. https://photos.app.goo.gl/S66KUw6R3R1j89ck9 1 Quote Link to comment
