Sethe Posted July 16, 2023 Report Share Posted July 16, 2023 1985 720 z24 I’ve owned diesels for years and a quick way to check for excessive blow by is to take the oil cap and place it up side down on the fill hole and if the cap is lifted up and pushed off then you have a fair amount of blow by. So I just got off work and pulled in the driveway left my truck running and pulled my cap off and there was a considerable amount of pressure coming from the fill hole. Not sure if this is normal on a gas engine. It doesn’t smoke or burn any oil. 1 Quote Link to comment
