velocejoe
Got an all original 1965 320. Radiator is busted up. Looking for a better priced alternative...I.E. one that doesn't require EVERYTHING to be replaced. Also need a generator and air cleaner. My positive ground system appears to have had the battery turned around because if I try and hook the battery up "regular" (read positive ground...it just sparks and what not. Wouldn't it spark like hell the other way if it was originally setup for positive ground, but is now negative ground? Kinda confused here. Electrical is not my strong point. It does have the beginning of an alternator conversion, but the wiring was never attempted, only the bracket has been made and alternator mounted and belt fitted. I'm scared to hook up the wiring, as I am not sure where I am as far as positive or negative ground conversion... 2 Quote Link to comment
velocejoe
Oh, it runs and drives. Setup as negative ground right now. Running coil off positive wire to battery positive post. Alternator is not hooked up due to unknowns of wiring, but is turning via fan belt. Quote Link to comment
