aappeexx Posted July 2, 2008 Report Share Posted July 2, 2008 think that I made a mistake by removing the c-clip that is on the upper part of the steering column,because the column snapped in a downward position and I cant seem to pull it back out to replace the c-clip.What do I do now to get this c-clip back in place??? aappeexx Posted July 4, 2008 Author Report Share Posted July 4, 2008 Well I figured it out,you have to unlock the steering column with your key in the ignition,slip an oversize washer and the steering wheel retaining nut on and pull back on the washer towards you and reinstall the slip ring into place,it will take some muscle to do it by yourself but it can be done by one person,if someone is handy to help enlist them to do so.
