240sx steering idea????

So I have a set of s12(200sx 5lug) front strut assembly I was planning on doing the 240sx coilover swap with , only waiting on funds to buy the bump steer spacers from another member. Now I was talking to a my friend who gave me the struts and he has switched to all 240sx steering and suspension on his 200sx, from what he told me all he needed was the 240sx spindle hub and balk joint and custom tie rods but it all bolted up so I was thinking, is it possible to insert the 240sx ball joint into the 510 lca because if so then wouldnt the spindle and hub work the same as doing the 200sx conversion (minus a custom tie rod) allowing for 240sx cilovers to bolt on rather than welded and opening up more options for brakes and steering modifications
