sprocket_jim Posted July 3, 2012 Report Share Posted July 3, 2012 I posted this question in another topic but maybe too buried so I am asking here... I have a white '77 KC 620. The paint code in the engine compartment is "037". I have looked at the chip charts and some other posts but the closest I can find is paint code "637" (eggshell white). The truck is not a pure white but wondered if anyone has been down this road already. I have started buffing it and the original paint is in fairly good condition with the exception of some dings here and there. Eventually, I will want to spray the entire truck keeping it close to original. The more immediate need is to paint the inside cab (which is stripped and ready to go) and I need to pull the windshield and address some surface rust around the seal. For the interior, I would like to not go with the obvious black, bedliner, or rustoleum gloss white. Looking something close to original. Any thoughts? Thanks.
