Outlaw720 Posted June 22, 2012 Report Share Posted June 22, 2012 so i got this truck from my grampa for 1 dollar. with it he gave me a Offenhauser intake and a 32 36 weber well when i installed the intake and carb it only wants to run choked and when i try to throttle it up it backfires through the carb and pops and dies. but i dont think its the timing cause it ran with the stock carb and intake on it. any help or suggestions would be great. ggzilla Posted June 22, 2012 Report Share Posted June 22, 2012 Why not run the stock intake and carb? The 720 uses the DCH340, which is slightly bigger than the Weber 32/36. The stocker is jetted pretty lean, but use the 4x4 jets and it will really run strong. Quote Link to comment
