window tint?

So i just picked up a new solid glass rear window. I really want to do a 2 color tint rising sun on it. anybody know how to go about doing such a thing?

I've been kicking around the idea of doing a rising sun back window with translucent red vinyl.

Yeah that's what I was thinking a red and black. (Its the colors of my truck)

nobody has any idea on what it takes to do a multi color tint?

Yah, you cut the 2 colors to shape, and lay them on the glass :) spray the glass down so you can slide the vinyl into position.

yeah i guess u jst gotta make sure u cut them all perfect lol. so u dont get overlapping or gaps.. maybe i will just pay someone to do it haha im not good at precision stuff like that lol

Yea, I've been thinking of something like this. So far, here's what I got

 

Cut the red to shape, lay it down and then lay the black over the whole thing. I would mock it up first to see if that would even work though. The black may knock down the red so you don't see it very much.

or

Cut the red to shape, lay it down, let it set and dry for a good day or so. Then put the black over that, and tape down all the edges so it can't move and use a razor and some kinda straight edge, ruler, yard stick etc to follow the lines of the red and cut out the black shapes.

Lol, just cut them w/ a vinyl plotter. Why do it by hand?
